February 11, 2008 Our former beautiful model room door, now our extensively damaged model room door (See blog entry from 2/11). See those 2 long silver chases running vertical? There were 7 of them and they all have to move 10 ft. to the left to make room for our new gst elevator. Those chases only run 8 stories!!! Room 706, this will be the location of our only full one bedroom suite…lots of work to do! A view from inside room 606, looking out into the corridor. Bath to 617 in the forefront, bath to 622 in the background. Room 717 and the location of the bathroom. Wiring that is part of our $1 million investment into Fire, Life & Safety.
