Fenway Park

Situated one mile from Copley Square Hotel, Fenway Park is the oldest and most historic ballpark in Major League Baseball. Built in 1912, the legendary home of the Boston Red Sox also hosts a variety of sparting events and concerts. It's one of eight ballparks that cannot seat at least 40,000 fans. Fenway Park is where Ted Williams, Carl Yastrzemski, and Carlton Fisk carved out their Hall of Fame careers.

  • CAN I TAKE A TOUR OF FENWAY PARK?

You sure can. Led by knowledgeable tour guides, the one-hour walking tour of the home of the Boston Red Sox features many of the stadium’s well-known spots. You’ll get to see Pesky’s Pole, the right field foul pole around which Johnny Pesky hit a famous home run to win a game in 1948, and the Green Monster, the 37-foot left field wall.
  • WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR RED SOX GAMES?

There are several options. You can come to Fenway Park and buy tickets at one of the ticket booths. You can also purchase them online at http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/ticketing/index.jsp?c_id=bos or via Ticketmaster at http://www.ticketmaster.com/Boston-Red-Sox-tickets/artist/805904. It's important that you get your tickets way in advance, however, as most Red Sox games sell out quickly.
